gonzo009 One of the defining synth-albums, at least for me. Great melodies, strong mid-tempos beats, excellent use of interesting samples. Not everything is pure gold and especially the collaborations are weaker in my eyes, but still, there is so much good here, that I now bought it twice as a hardcopy. I never did that before. Favorite track: Testarossa.

Leo Stableford If you're one of those looking for a cover bedecked with neon and robots as an indicator of the quality of your synthwave then you could miss this, and no one wants that. This is probably going to be one of the greatest synthwave releases of 2018 and I'm writing this in March. I'm still that confident. This album sparkles and shifts, powering through 12 tracks of amazing music sprinkled with cheeky vocal samples, not a dud to be found in amongst them. Favorite track: Termination.

palehorse666 a great outrun album based on the Belgian city. it's fun. it's emotional. it captures the essence of 80's movie soundtracks, especially King of Kong. Favorite track: King of Kong (Ballad of Billy Mitchell).

James Bracewell This is a definite purchase! I was initially put off a little by the cover as my dad used go call me a twerp a lot when I was little. He was only poking fun but it's hard admire a cool cover when you keep thinking about that childhood ridicule. This new year I resolved that I wouldn't let my dad dictate my Synthwave buying habits anymore and I fought hard against the past until common sense prevailed. I'm so glad it did. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.
